Rome, with its lesser-known monuments and extraordinary historical stratification, becomes the setting for both a physical and inner journey undertaken by a young content creator, accompanied by Kyria, his four-legged best friend. Suspended between wonder and uncertainty, the boy faces the responsibility of portraying a city that has eluded definition for millennia.

It is not the postcard-perfect Rome that reveals itself: beyond its monumental façade emerges an intimate, popular city, made up of everyday spaces we pass through without noticing. A Pleistocene elephant cemetery in western Rome, the “fatal places” of the Empire between Sacrofano and Prima Porta, the labyrinths of the Portuense Necropolis, and the streets of the Esquilino district resurface along a path where archaeology becomes a cognitive experience.
